We’re thrilled to announce that Christopher Chen received the Glickman Award. This prestigious award administered by Theatre Bay Area was started in 1984 to honor Bay Area playwright and screenwriter Will Glickman. The Will Glickman Award is presented annually to the author or authors of the best play to have its world premiere in the Bay Area the preceding year. This year’s Glickman committee comprised of critics Robert Avila (SF Bay Guardian), Karen D’Souza (San Jose Mercury News and the Bay Area News Group), Chad Jones (Theatre Dogs), Robert Hurwitt (the San Francisco Chronicle), and Sam Hurwitt (Marin Independent Journal, The Idiolect, and Theatre Bay Area).

We’re thrilled of course! You can read the full article from Theatre Bay Area here.
